Are you considering adding a room to your house? We get a lot of inquiries about this type of project, and we would love to discuss the possibilities with you. You might be thinking about an extra bedroom if you have a growing family, or possibly using that extra bedroom for family or friends that visit. Or you could add a sunroom – that’s a great place for a relaxed afternoon or for entertaining guests. Even if you have a patio already, we can enclose it so that you can use it year-round and in any weather. Another popular room addition is a family room. Kids and parents alike love having a place where everyone can gather and watch a great movie, play games, or just hang out in the evening. We have done many room additions of all types, so we can offer advice from our experience and maybe give you some ideas you haven’t thought of.

Perhaps you are considering remodeling your kitchen. There are so many possibilities with a project like that. You can expand the kitchen to make it bigger if there is enough space. You can get new appliances (this is often the reason for the remodeling in the first place). Or maybe you would like a different layout in the kitchen, so that you can use it differently than you do now. How about putting in a kitchen island? New flooring? Hanging racks for a stylish storage option? The options are only limited by your imagination.

Another popular room for remodeling is the bathroom. With new appliances that are more water-efficient, you will see some savings in your utility bill. If there is space available in an adjoining room to expand the size of the bathroom, you would be amazed at what a difference it is just by adding a few square feet. New cabinetry can make the bathroom have a more “modern” look. And for bathrooms there are lots of little options that many people have never heard of – like heated towel racks (a warmed towel is pretty amazing on a cold winter morning!).

We find basement remodeling projects to be a lot of fun too. You can turn the basement into a family room, a large home office, an exercise room, a home theater – whatever you want, it’s your space! And typically in basements there is a lot of space to work with, so even a combination of those options could work. Maybe you would like a place for a hobby – you can set up a nice electric train set, a big sewing room, whatever you want. In many homes, the basement is just a big space that isn’t really used for anything in particular other than storage. With your ideas and our experience, we can put that space to good use.

We will probably offer some suggestions to perhaps improve on your ideas and plans, and we can give you a proposal on the total cost and when the work can be completed. In general, depending on the size of the project, it will probably take less time and money than you expect. And you have a nice newly-remodeled space in your home. This makes the home more enjoyable for everyone, and it almost always increases the market value of the home should you ever decide to sell.
