In 2008 and early 2009, we worked with the Detail Design team to completely refinish three bathrooms (Master, Guest, and Powder Room), replace our home’s front entry-way, and repair a number of other items around our home. My family purchased our first home 1 ½ years ago. We have a small child and wanted to make our house a place where he would enjoy growing up. To make this possible, a renovation was necessary. After an exhaustive search and interview process, we decided to hire Detail Design and Remodeling because Robert was very receptive to our ideas and treated us with respect even though this was our first foray into home renovation.

Robert and his excellent team got to work right away and completely remodeled and expanded our kitchen. His team replaced our old tile flooring with new hard woods and managed to match them to the other hard woods in the house. We also had him renovate our living room, entrance and deck. He did such a wonderful job on these difficult projects that we asked him to also repaint our house inside and out. He did not disappoint. The job was done right and on time for the price we agreed upon.

The renovations were completed in 4 months and we have been enjoying our new space for almost a year. Everything still looks wonderful and has proven to be as reliable as it is beautiful. When we had a question regarding a product after the job was done, he got back to us right away and helped us resolve the issue even though he had already been paid and the product was not his responsibility.

Many builders would take advantage of first time home owners but Robert was just the opposite. He walked us through every step and kept us informed of all updates. He made our house a home we can live in for many years to come. We highly recommend him and his wonderful team to anyone looking to improve the quality and comfort of their home.
